Coch-Y-Bonddu - A Must-Have Fly for Hebridean Waters

The Coch-y-Bonddu is an essential pattern for early summer when trout are feeding on beetles, particularly the June Bug. Tied with a black silk thread, a bronze peacock herl body tipped with flat gold tinsel, and a dark furnace cock hackle, this fly excels from mid-May through June.
